In May 2021, Tanznetz Freiburg presents a evening of short dance piece performances, funded by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund, followed by a dialogue with the audience. The pieces are at the end of their creation process and last a maximum of 10 minutes. The programme invites viewers to experience innovative scenic ideas and then enter into a dialogue with the artists about those same ideas.
Due to the Corona pandemic, the evening was broadcast via the live stream platform #infreiburgzuhause. Seven pieces were broadcast with eight dance artists performing.

In the Cellar 40
Handmade Solo. A poetic action for all dance artists. Each move, each blink, each breath is our work... we dig the ground and do it underground... Inspired by 40 monologues from artists, "In the cellar 40" wants to share the passion & sincerity of a dancing body today.
Dance & Choreography: Sarantoula Sarantaki
"Please keep your distance!"
The dynamic between closeness and distance is more omnipresent than ever. Under the current circumstances of the pandemic, closeness and distance are being experienced and defined anew. Can distance also create closeness? What changes in the way we interact with each other can be observed? How are distance and closeness renegotiated on an interpersonal basis in everyday interactions?
Choreography & Dance: Miriam Cheema & Kevin Albancando

Remanenze
The duet Remanenze addresses the desire for closeness and real touch. Two bodies, that attract and repel each other at the same time, explore the perceived and real distance between them and use gestures to tell of their desires.
