Are you a freelance dancer or choreographer looking to connect with others in Freiburg's independent dance scene? Want to try out an artistic idea within the community or explore a topic?

Then come to LABORMANIFEST #17

LABORMANIFEST is a discursive and performative platform that takes place once a year at SÜDUFER Freiburg. It is a space for exchange, reflection, vision, further development, research, and networking by, for, and with dance professionals in and around Freiburg.

LaborManifest #17, entitled “SHAPE IT!!!”, is an invitation to embrace the vitality of dance and actively shape the present. LaborManifest could be described as a “commons,” i.e., the social practice of “co-creation.” It has behaved organically in this way since its inception: through self-organisation, needs orientation and action orientation, we shape, share and manage our “commons” – the space, time, knowledge, skills and expertise – within a week on the south bank. The insights and connections that grow naturally from this can then shine into the future and help shape the dance landscape in a sustainable way. The LaborManifest is, as its name suggests, a space for experimentation and manifestation.

• From Monday, March 9, 2:30 p.m. to Saturday, March 14, 2:30 p.m., the SÜDUFER will once again be at our disposal with its small, elegant stage, studio, and all the necessary amenities. 
• Bring along the topics that currently interest or move you and present them on Monday as a warm-up or LAB idea. > Which ideas do you want to try out? What topics should be discussed? What questions, concepts, and needs are currently on your mind?
• On Monday, we will share the time and space slots and fill the care board for social interaction. In this way, we will shape the week together as a community, fairly and considerately, according to our interests and needs.
• The framework will be maintained by Laura Heinecke and Marcella Centenero, in collaboration with all participants.
• Participation is free of charge, as municipal funds cover most of the costs. A small portion of uncovered costs will be made transparent at the end of the LaborManifest and collected through a round of contributions.

The LaborManifest will be documented by Tanznetz Freiburg for internal purposes as well as for social media channels (photos and videos).
By registering to participate in the Labormanifest, you consent to the use of the resulting material by Tanznetz or its partners. If you do not agree to the publication of image or video material, you can of course withdraw your consent at any time. Please send us a note to this effect with your registration or speak to us directly on site, and we will take your request into account when publishing.
