Monika Keller

Monika Keller works as a dancer, dance teacher and choreographer and is based in Freiburg since 2023. She is teaching contemporary, ballet and jazz dance at Studio Pro Arte, as well as managing their companies. Her new piece “Beyond” will premiere on May 8 at the Peterhofkeller. In May 2025, her contemporary solo “The Voyage Inward” was presented as a co-production with E-WERK at the Kammertheater. In February, she performed together with Lucie Betz at the Archaeological Collection Freiburg. Prior to that, she lived for seven years in Israel and taught in studios in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and presented her own work in theaters in Tel Aviv. Monika grew up in Schwäbisch Gmünd and trained at the Karren Foster Academy. She attended training courses in New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich and studied 2014 for a year at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.
