Loreto Valenzuela

Visual performing artist Loreto Valenzuela, born in 1973 in Santiago, Chile, embarked on her artistic journey drawing inspiration from directors such as David Musa, Vicente Ruiz, and Hector Noguera. BA in Drama and English Studies, ARU Cambridge, M.A. in Performance Practice and Research from CSSD, London (2008). In Europe, developed further her training. Selected work in DO NOT MANIFEST, Cambridge Sustainability Residency and at Documenta 14 Kassel. Currently she lives and work in Freiburg, presented in venues like Delphi Space Freiburg for UncertainT, with Katharina Hefter. E-Werk Freiburg for Club Unique performance party format, Südufer Freiburg for "All is Light" alongside Stephanie Scheubeck, and Kaserwasser Off Space Freiburg for A Whisper of the Stone Andrea Lagos. Part of Tanznet Freiburg enhances her artistic journey and hope to engage in freelance work.
