Julia Klockow
Julia is a freelance dancer, dance facilitator & choreographer. She received her professional training at the TIP - School for Dance, Improvisation & Performance from 2016 - 2018. She performed in pieces by Alexandra Pirici (Art Basel 2019/ Kunsthalle Mannheim 2020), Maria Habib (Theater Freiburg, 2018) and Doris Uhlich (Boom 2017). Julia Klockow understands the human body as a cultural storehouse of knowledge and a means of expression, with intuitive resources that are neglected in our society. For her, the performance situation is a social moment that triggers transformative processes. In her work, she is particularly interested in how the relationship between audience and performer is shaped.
