Silent Cosmonauts Kollektiv
The SILENT COSMONAUTS KOLLEKTIV (SCK) - Mathilde Bonte (BE), Fiona Combosch (DE),
Ewelina Kotwa (PL) - was founded in 2019 and is based in Freiburg. Within the dizzying time structures of a postmodern society, the collective is searching for an attitude: "How can real connectedness exist in our current time structure, with somewhat inhuman alienation tendencies"? In their artistic work, the collective explores theories by Donna Haraway, Hartmut Rosa and Anna L. Tsing, among others, and works collaboratively and across disciplines. In SCK's performances, dance, music, fashion and sculpture merge into a multidimensional scenography. The group began their collaboration in 2019 with the short piece ||: W E I T E R :||. This was followed by pieces: Amplify (2020), 19 to the dozen (2021), Next Nature (2022) and NOCHMAL! (2023).
