Cie LaPerformance

The company LaPerformance was founded in 2012 by Julie Jaffrennou. It brings together cross-generational artists from the fields of dance, theater, and visual arts who collaborate closely with each other. Faced with global crises, they seek a poetic path of encounter as a radical contrast to them. Through the dialogue between introspective and choreographic work, they balance in a space of play, dance, and simple existence in strong harmony with contexts such as theater, museum situations, or public spaces. In 2019, the company received conceptual support from the city of Freiburg and was invited to "Die Große" in Düsseldorf. In 2022, it was co-produced by Theaterrampe and invited to the "6Tagefrei" festival in Stuttgart. Supported by the state of Baden-Württemberg, it received new conceptual support from the city of Freiburg in 2024.
